Fullmoon 2006

Some times things are not as we see them. Some times our eyes see what we want them to see.

No matter how its seems it IS a fullmoon. This is the brightest fullmoon in August 6, 2006.

I have taken this picture with the shutter open for a long time (10 sec-f/8 exposure and an ISO-400, for those that know).

The place is a beach at Nea Makry (Attica).

When a Dragon Eats The Moon

A "Lunar eclipse" had been written before 6000 years ago.

Maya believed that was a jaguar which swallowed the moon, or Three-legged-Toad (!) for Chinese.

In many parts of Earth humans believed that the moon had been eaten by a Dragon and most of them tried to keep the Dragon away with rituals and (usually) they saccessfully drove the Dragon away.

From the last Lunar eclipse, I present you the moon which been eaten by a Dragon...
